The 25-year-old Rabia Nazeer was a student of Kinnaird College. Her dead body was founded in the washroom of the lobby in a private hotel. There were also bullets and a pistol magazine in her bag.
CCTV footage showed that Rabia entered the hotel alone. It could not be ascertained whether she committed suicide or was murdered, and this would only be revealed in the post-mortem report.
Hotel administrations shifted the body to hospital without informing the police. However, the police authorities took the body into custody and shifted it to a morgue.
Rabia Nazeer was a resident of Batapur and was the sole sister with four brother. She has been the captain of cricket team of Queen Mary College, and nowadays conducted cricket classes at Kinnaird College.
Her family members said that they will lodge a case after receiving the post-mortem report. Police are investigating how she managed to carry the weapon in the hotel.
