ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain has strongly denounced the killing of SP CID Chaudhry Aslam in Karachi blast and labeled it a cowardly attack by the terrorists – ARY News reports.
Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah, Information Minister Sindh Sharjeel Memon have also condemned the attack on Chaudhry Aslam. Sharjeel Memon said that with the killing of Aslam, Sindh Police was deprived of a brave and reckless officer.
Former President Asif Ali Zardari said that Aslam and his companions sacrificed their lives for a noble cause.
Meanwhile, MQM Chief Altaf Hussain while paying tribute to martyred SP CID, demanded the Government to arrest the culprits involved in this heinous incident.
PTI Chairman, Imran Khan condemned the blast and demanded the Sindh Government to probe into the incident and to bring the culprits before the law.
Dr Tahir ul Qadri expressed immense grief on the blast and loss of lives and stated that the Government has failed in preventing terrorist activities.
Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat ul Ibad said that Chaudhry Aslam brightened up the name of Sindh police through his bravery and valour.
MWM leader, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas denounced the attack and stated that neither the security agencies nor are the people of Pakistan safe from terrorism.
SIC Chairman, Hamid Raza while expressing solidarity with aggrieved family, said that Chaudhry Aslam was a brave officer and his martyrdom is a national tragedy.
Moreover, ASWJ Chief, Molana Ahmed Ludhiyanvi has also denounced the suicide attack on SP CID.
