Condolence reference held for Haji Abdul Razzak Yaqoob

KARACHI: A condolence reference was held by the World Memon Organization and All Pakistan Memon Federation to pay their respect to late Haji Abdul Razzak Yaqoob, founder of ARY Group, here at Rangoonwala Hall in Karachi on Sunday, ARY News reports.

On the occasion, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) representative Rasheed Godal said that the death of Haji Abdul Razzak Yaqoob is not just a big loss for the Memon community but a huge tragedy for the humanity as well.

Renowned industrialist Siraj Qasim Teli said that the projects initiated in the name of Haji Abdul Razzak Yaqoob should continue at any cost.

Former Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi chapter Muhammad Hussain Mehnti said that the name of the ARY founder will always be remembered in the list of most generous persons.

Chief of Citizens Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) Ahmed Chinoy, while addressing the condolence reference, said that the personality of Haji Abdul Razzak Yaqoob is a beacon of light for the entire humanity. He added that there is a long list of services rendered by the late ARY Chairman for the people.

A documentary film on the life of Haji Abdul Razzak Yaqoob was also screened in the gathering.

President of the Memon community, close relatives of Haji Abdul Razzak Yaqoob and other political and religious figures attended the reference.
