No confusion over national security policy, says PM

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday said that his government was not confused over the national security policy or any other issue, ARY News reported.

Pakistan's Prime Minister speaking in National Assembly here said that Chaudhry Nisar has made the national security policy with hard work, if it has any ambiguity, the government has been ready to discuss the matter and iron it out. 

He said the security policy belongs to the nation and the state and not restricted to a political party or a government. 

Responding to the complaint of the opposition leader Syed Khursheed Shah, Nawaz Sharif said that the government will hold consultations with the opposition over moving the process of dialogue ahead. 

Nawaz Sharif said, "we all have learned from our mistakes, which can be witnessed in the house proceedings".  

Earlier, leader of the opposition in National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah while talking on the national security policy said that the opposition was not taken onboard over the process of dialogue. 

Maulana Fazlur Rehman of JUI-F speaking in the house said that all parties are agreed over the roadmap of the talks. 

Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) leader Javed Hashmi said that the government didn't accept the proposal of political consultation over  the dialogue.
