According to details, ASI Azeem Ashraf shot himself in the head in Defence Area (A) Police Station.
The police officers went to his room where he was lying dead. They took Ashraf to General Hospital but he could not be revived.
Sources stated that he was depressed with the attitude of senior cops due to which committed suicide.
The case is being investigated by the police.
Inspector General of Punjab has taken notice of the incident and has sought its investigation report.
