Dr. Khalid Mahmood Soomro was shot dead by unknown persons in Sukkur on Saturday morning. He was a former senator and the current Secretary General of JUI-F Sindh chapter.
The traffic was severely affected due to the protests of JUI-F activists in different parts of Karachi. The Mauripur road connecting Hub area was closed whereas mob pelted stones at vehicles.
A complete shutter-down strike is being observed in Quetta over the killing of Khalid Soomro.
In Peshawar, shops and commercial centres are closed in most parts of the city whereas traffic was severely affected due to the protests against the killing of the JUI-F leader.
