RAWALPINDI: Anti-Terrorism Court Rawalpindi acquitted Malik Ishaq and 10 other accused in three terrorism cases, ARY News reported on Thursday.

Malik Ishaq, a central leader of outlawed Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, was acquitted by the anti-terrorism court Rawalpindi. The cases were registered at Talagang, Hazro and Mangla police stations against the accused for fanning religious and sectarian hatred.

The court released 11 accused including Ishaq due to the lack of evidence.

Malik Ishaq faces several charges of terrorism including his alleged involvement in attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team in Lahore.
