The court issued warrants against Altaf and others for ‘mischievous speeches’ and facilitating terrorists.

MQM members including a number of prominent leaders of the party were named in FIRs by private complainants alleging them attending a meeting and listened an outburst of Altaf Hussain against the security agencies on July 12 this year.

The ATC judge issued non-bailable warrants against over 200 MQM leaders and other workers including the party’s members of national and provincial assemblies.

MQM’s mayoral candidate for Karachi Waseem Akhtar and senior party leaders Farooq Sattar, Rauf Siddiqui and others were included in the court order.

Waseem Akhtar and Rauf Siddiqui have already got interim bails from courts.

The prosecution earlier submitted more than 10 cases against MQM leaders in the court.
