Court orders production of Pervez Musharraf

ISLAMABAD: An Islamabad court on Saturday ordered production of former president Pervez Musharraf in Abdul Rasheed Ghazi murder case, ARY News reported. 

The counsel of former president pleaded to the court that his client could not appear in the court due to his ill health. 

The court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Islamabad had in previous hearing of the case summoned former president Pervez Musharraf in  the court hearing.

The judge also directed the counsel to present medical certificates about illness of the former president.

The counsel for complainant of Ghazi Abdul Rasheed murder case had contended in previous hearing that they had come to know about the ailment of Musharraf through media while the counsel representing Musharraf had not submitted any medical report of the former president.
