Court rejects bail plea of Gullu Butt
At least 14 workers of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) were killed in the bloody episode at Minhaj-ul-Quran Secretariat at Model Town of Lahore.
The defence counsel in his arguments said that the charges under terrorism and attempt to murder against Gullu Butt are malicious as his client didn’t commit any offence, which could cause fear and harassment adding that the offence committed by the accused is bailable.
Government Prosecutor opposed the bail plea of the accused and said that the bail to Gullu Butt will cause harassment in general public.
ATC Judge rejected the bail plea after arguments of the lawyers.
