Court to decide fate of arrested MQM workers, says Qaim Ali Shah

KARACHI: Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah said on Friday that operation against criminal elements in Karachi was initiated after the consultation with Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), ARY News reported.

Speaking at passing out parade at Saeedabad Police Center today, Syed Qaim Ali Shah said Police and Rangers putting sincere efforts to eliminate crimes across Sindh including Karachi.

“A combined effort from Police and Rangers worked effectively to counter terrorism and criminal acts in Sindh”, he said.

Talking about arrest of MQM workers, the Minister said that court will decide their fate as the matter is in court adding that investigation committee has been formed to probe killing of MQM Worker Syed Waqas Ali Shah.

Qaim Ali Shah said measures taken by Police and Rangers against target killing and extortion are appreciable.
