CPLC chief Chinoy's resignation on cards
Sources informed that Chinoy was under pressure from different quarters after he was lambasted over his purported connections with kidnappers and extortionists.
It is learnt that Chinoy might submit his resignation to Governor Sindh Dr. Ishratul Ibad in next 48 hours.
Earlier on Tuesday, Rangers personnel recovered a boy Laraib from Indus Plaza, Sohrab Goth at 4.30am Tuesday, and later the law enforcers made it to Chinoy’s home for interrogation over his alleged involvement in kidnapping. However, Chinoy plainly denied any such link.
MQM spokesperson on Tuesday had strongly criticized the CPLC chief and said he proved himself a liar.
He maintained that the CPLC chief had proved himself a liar by changing his statement regarding the rangers’ raid on his house.
