A creepy ‘Chucky-style’ doll has been filmed sitting in a cemetery with its eyes following the camera wherever it goes.

SCROLL DOWN FOR VIDEO- VIEWER DISCRETION ADVISED

The creepy video, which has gone viral online, shows the “Devil” toy resting a tombstone dressed in white. With fang-like teeth, it seems to be alive with presumed evil thoughts, as it follows the camera with its eyes. The video has received more than 341,000 views in just four days.

Next to the scary doll is a baby’s bottle full of a red blood-like liquid. The toy was reportedly recorded by a woman in Brazil and has since appeared in Mexican media.

Many social media users were spooked out by the video with one commenting: “Doll of the Devil.”

Other claimed the doll’s moving eyes were just a trick of the senses, with one user writing: “It is an optical illusion, but it does not stop it from being scary, may heaven help me.”

Local media outlets in Mexico compared the eerie doll to Chucky, the fictional serial killer doll from the film series.

However, Mexico is no stranger to creepy dolls. There is even an island dedicated to them between the canals of Xochimico close to Mexico City.

Decapitated doll heads watch visitors to the island as their weathered, mangled forms sway in the breeze, suspended to tree branches by ropes.

According to local legend, the dolls started appearing after a gruesome discovery was made by the island’s caretaker, Julian Santana Barrera.

One morning he found the body of a dead girl, an incident that would haunt him for the rest of his life. Soon after he found the body he stumbled upon a doll which he assumed belonged to the dead girl so he hung it to a tree to honour her.

But he could never forget about the dead child so he continued to hang dolls to trees on the island to protect him from the girl’s spirit.
