KARACHI: Pakistani cricket Syeda Nain Abidi got married to a US national Asad Jaffery this week, ARY News reported.
Her wedding ceremony was held in a hotel and was attended by close family and friends. Pakistani women cricketers were also present in the festivities as well.
Abidi posted a picture on Twitter in which she was wearing an orange while Asad was donning a white-coloured shalwar-kurta and coat.
Abidi’s tweet read, “You meet thousands of people, and none of them really touch U. And then Ü meet One person N your life is Häppy forever!! #soulmate #blessed.”

In an interview, she said that marriage will not be a hurdle in her cricketing career and will continue to play for her country.
The cricketer added that she will soon return to the training camp.
Nain Abidi is the only Pakistani woman cricketer who has scored a century in one-day cricket. She was also part of the team when it won the gold medal in the 2010 Asian Games in China.
