Crime rate decreased in Karachi, says Ghulam Haider Jamali

KARACHI: Interim Inspector General (IG) Sindh, Ghulam Haider Jamali has said that efforts are underway to improve security situation of Karachi, ARY News reported.

Speaking during the visit of different markets of Karachi, Ghulam Haider Jamali said concerns of trade community regarding law and order will be removed soon.

Praising Police’s performance, Interim IG Sindh said Polie working well to counter crimes as several bandits and terrorist have been gunned down in encounters which decreased the crime rate in Karachi.

He said Police will be soon provided with bulletproof jackets and armored vehicles.

Ghulam Haider Jamali informed that strategy has been designed to tackle the post Zarb-e-Azb situation and snap checking has been increased which will definitely bring good results.
