DERA GHAZI KHAN: A fake healer tortured a woman to death in Dera Ghazi Khan, ARY News reported on Thursday.
The husband of the victim, Surayya 34, said his wife was ailing and she was taken to a healer, Amanullah, in Sajjadabad locality of D.G. Khan.
The healer and his disciple Abdul Hameed, told them that his wife Surayya has been possessed by a Jinn and they have to practice some ‘Amal’ to get rid of the woman from the possession of the supernatural force.
They closed the woman in a room and subjected her to inhuman torture, the husband said. They burnt her hands and feet with fire and fled after seeing that her condition being deteriorated.
The victim was transferred to a trauma centre in the city where she succumbed to her injuries.
Police has registered FIR against the fake healer and his accomplice and conducting raids to arrest them.
