ISLAMABAD: Two Director Generals, Lt. Gen (R) Khalid Ahmad Kidwai and Lt. Gen. Zubair Hayat called on Finance Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Wednesday to discuss issues pertaining to Strategic Planning Division (SPD), ARY News reported.
During the meeting Ishaq Dar has ensured timely provision of funds on top priority to strategic projects of the country.
The Minister said that present governmentwould make appropriate funding so national security projects remain continue without any interruptions.
Meanwhile, during the meeting they agreed on maintaining good inter-departmental coordination and harmonization between Ministry of Finance and strategic institutes.
Furthermore, the Finance Minister Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting to speed up the privatization process on Wednesday.
During the meeting he said that at present national and international capital markets are buoyant and the country must benefit from the present confidence of the investors in present government.
