Pakistan started last day at 4-1, Saeed Ajmal’s resistance ended in the sixth over of the day.

Shehzad made 16 off 74 and was around with the equally sedate Azhar Ali, but the partnership fetched Pakistan merely 28.

The visitors decided to block their way through the final but lost Younis Khan too by lunch, at 66-4.

Skipper Misbah-ul-Haq and Azhar provided Pakistan 56 runs but Ali edged Rangana Herath and was caught behind the stumps.

The duo of Herath and Dilruwan Perera were relentless taking 6 and 2 wickets respectively.

Pakistan in the second inning were all out for 180 giving Sri Lnka target of 99 runs.
