Deadlock between Gov't, Taliban committees soon to end, hopes Ibrahim
LOWER DIR: Member of the Taliban nominated committee for peace talks, Professor Ibrahim has said that the deadlock between the Government and Taliban committees will soon be ended and the negotiations process will be resumed – ARY News reports.
Talking to media here on Friday, Professor Ibrahim told that the United States (US) has been defeated in Afghanistan and it will soon withdraw from there.
He urged both the Government and Taliban to resume talks at the earliest, for a military operation is no solution to the issue.
Earlier today, the spokesman of Taliban-nominated committee for peace talks, Maulana Yousuf Shah and Maulana Samiul Haq also had a telephonic contact.
