KARACHI: The death of former SP CID Chaudhry Aslam still remains a mystery as the owner of the vehicle, that was used to hit the late CID official, has not been found whereas the person who called the SP before his killing has not been traced yet, ARY News reports on Monday.
The incident is being investigated from all angles. The statement of Inspector Malik Adil, who was in Chaudhry Aslam's squad, has also been recorded. Police post incharge and domestic servants of Chaudhry Aslam have also been included in the investigation. More parts of the car, used to carry out the attack, have also been found. However, the owner of the car has not been traced.
According to details, the tax sticker was last issued on 2nd June 2012.
The team investigating the case is waiting for the forensic report. They took the DNA tests of attacker Naeemullah's father and brother. The investigating officers said that the report will decide the right path of the probe. They took the mobile phone information and recorded the statements of the house servants.
