No decision made to end talks with Taliban, says Nisar

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has clarified that the no such decision of ending talks with Taliban has been made – ARY News reports.

Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan clarified that the Government has not made any decision to end talks with Taliban and to launch a full-fledged military operation in North Waziristan.

He also said that the security of Islamabad or any major city is not being handed over to the military.

Nisar further stated that report of a foreign news agency on a recent security meeting chaired by the Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif, is funny and beyond facts.

The Interior Minister told that the meeting chaired by the Prime Minister continued under a pleasant and positive atmosphere and the recent air strikes in North Waziristan and limited operation are a continuity of the decision made earlier.
