Deepika Padukone slams reporter for asking question about her tattoo
Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor’s affair was not a secret one. Widely reported in the media was also the fact that the Bollywood actress had gotten the nape of her neck tatted with the initials RK, an obvious reference to Ranbir Kapoor. Perhaps the actress had not thought through the fact that one day that the two of them would split at a time. And yes of course, the tattoo would then raise quite a few eyebrows.
Most recently at a public event, the Bollywood actress was quizzed regarding the tattoo she had at the nape of the neck. A reporter asked her what Ranveer Singh (her alleged boyfriend) thought of her sporting Ranbir Kapoor’s tattoo. To which Deepika replied wittily :-
“Why? Does the nation want to know?”
The above remark was a witty shot Deepika had intended, since it was a famous phrase of leading Indian journalist Arnab Goswami, who is an anchor on the television channel Times Now.
Padukone will be seen in an upcoming movie directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, which also stars Priyanka Chopra and Ranveer Singh in the lead roles. Bajirao Mastani is the name of the flick and it will be released on December 18 of this year. The movie is expected to clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale, which is also set to release on the same day.
Deepika Padukone will also be seen in director Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming film Tamasha opposite Ranbir Kapoor.
Looks like the Bollywood actress can hold her own and respond to any and every taunt or difficult question the media throws at her!
