Speaking to media at the residence of PPP leader Mian Manzoor Wattoo, Syed Khursheed Shah said that the double standards of the federal government came to the fore when the PML-N leaders in Punjab expressed their fear on being held accountable.

He added that Interior Minister did not live up to his statement regarding making a commission to investigate the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

“NAB has seen something that’s why the accountability organization want to hold accountability in Punjab”, he said.

He added that secret deals were made for the export of Liquified Natural Gas (LNG). He added the resources in Punjab will be affected due to coal based power projects.

Shah added that 15,000 MW electricity can be generated if the federal government spends some amount of the revenue earned by China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) on the Bhasha and Munda dams.

“The government, by rejecting the Senate, wants to get the bill of converting Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) into a company through joint session of Parliament”, Shah said.
