Deputy Commissioner Korangi escapes attack, two guards injured
KARACHI: The Deputy commissioner of Korangi, Mohammad Zubair escaped an attack in Nasir Jump, Korangi, Karachi on Saturday when he was on his way back to home from office, ARY News reported.
According to sources, Mohammad Zubair remained safe when unidentified opened fire on his car but two of his guards got injured. The attackers ran away from the scene after the attack.
Rabitta Committee of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) strongly condemned the incident declaring the act as open terrorism.
In a statement, MQM RC said that criminal elements of banned outfits has established whereabouts in particular areas of Korangi and targeting personnel of Law Enforcement Agencies(LEA) and ruining the peace of the city.
Members of MQM RC have demanded for the arrest of culprits involved in the attack on deputy commissioner of Korangi.
Furthermore, the killing spree in Karachi has left four people including police officer were killed on Saturday.
