RAWALPINDI: Newly-appointed Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor on Sunday, through a tweet, confirmed that he has assumed of the office replacing Lt General Asim Bajwa, ARY News reported.
He offered praise to Allah (SWT) and thanked Asim Bajwa for his contributions to the military’s public affairs wing.
The DG ISPR also wrote slogans ‘Long Live Pakistan Armed Forces’ and ‘Live Forever Pakistan’.

On the other hand, Asim Bajwa, in a tweet, expressed pride over representing armed forces as DG ISPR for four years and seven months during fight on terror, which he termed as ‘eventful time’.
He said we are the best nation with invincible forces recognized by the world.
Bajwa also thanked all, specially media, for unwavering support and wished Asif Ghafoor best of luck.
