DG Punjab Rangers visits Pak-India working boundary

During his visit, the DG Punjab Rangers encouraged the Rangers troops stationed at the front posts along the working boundary. He praised the morale of the troops deployed there.

On this occasion, Major General Khan Tahir Javed Khan was also briefed by the officials about the damages caused due to unprovoked firing and shelling by the Indian forces across the working boundary.

Earlier on July 17 and 18, Indian forces had fired mortar shells across the working boundary in the Akhnor Sector and Sajeet Sector.

Indian border security force (BSF) had opened unprovoked fire with small as well as heavy arms; however Indian guns were completely silenced by a full-fledged retaliatory fire of Pakistan Rangers.
