DG Rangers chairs meeting on Karachi’s law and order
KARACHI: The Director General (DG) Rangers Sindh, Major General Rizwan Akhter chaired a high-level meeting pertaining to the law and order situation of Karachi, at which the officials decided to keep the situation of the metropolis under control – ARY News reports.
According to the Spokesperson of the Sindh Rangers, security was beefed up around the British Consulate, while law enforcement agencies (LEAs) were directed to take all possible measures for improving the law and order situation of different areas of the city.
Rangers’ personnel and the anti-terrorism squad of Sindh Rangers have been issued a high-alert in this regard.
The Rangers Spokesperson said that strict action will be taken against those involved in deteriorating law and order.
The DG Rangers appealed the citizens to remain peaceful and not to violate the law.
Meanwhile, another important meeting took place at the CM House, which was attended by the DG Rangers, IG Sindh and Additional IG Karachi.
