DG Rangers vows to take indiscriminate action against militants

After the killing of Amjad Sabri, in a high-level meeting at the Rangers Headquarters in Karachi on Wednesday, the current law and order situation in the city was reviewed.

DG Rangers and other senior officials have decided to undertake comprehensive investigations into the recent incidents of terrorism and target killings in the city, according to Sindh Rangers spokesperson.

It was also resolved during the meeting that strict and indiscriminate actions will be taken against terrorist and militant wings [of political parties] involved in the incidents,” the spokesperson announced in a statement.

Meanwhile, as the probe into Amjad Sabri’s assassination proceeds, sketch of one of the suspected assailants has been prepared to get crucial leads into the   investigation.

Rangers and police officials have also been conducting search operations and raids across the city in order to arrest the culprits at the earliest.
