‘Dhoom 3’ has surpassed 300 crores mark at the world wide box office in just eight days. Previously only Aamir Khan’s ‘3 Idiot’ and Salman Khan’s ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ had managed to join the elite 300 crores club.
The action-thriller raked in over 199 crores in India till Friday and collected around Rs 100 cores at the overseas cash counters by Thursday (December 26th).
The film has earned over 211 crores at the Indian box office and considering its pace pundits predict it will soon shatter the highest record of 216 crores set by Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Chennai Express’.
"'Dhoom: 3’ has collected around Rs 211 crore only in Hindi all over India. In other languages, the film has collected around Rs 10 crore," Rajesh Thadani of Multimedia Combines revealed to media.
The film, which also features Katrina Kaif, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra, was released on December 20th on around 4,000 screens in India and some 1,000 screens overseas.
