The investigation commission formed by Imran Khan to probe into the allegations of corruption cancelled the basic membership of Secretary General PTI Jahangir Tareen and of central leader Nadir Khan Laghari on Monday.

Furthermore, the election tribunal also declared CM Pervez Khattak and former president of party’s Lahore chapter, Aleem Khan ineligible to contest any election in future. It also issued show cause notices to Arif Alvi, Saifullah Niazi and Qasim Khan directing them to appear before the commission on June 29.

Following the announcement, Imran Khan posted messages at his official twitter account and clarified that PTI Election Tribunal headed by (retd) Justice Wajiuddin had been dissolved one month ago.
