Djokovic advances to semi-finals of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships

DUBAI: Serbian tennis star, Novak Djokovic has reached the semi-finals of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, ARY News reported.

World Number two Djokovic, who defeated the Spain's Roberto Bautista-Agut by 6-1 6-3 was due to face Mikhail Youzhny in the quarter-finals, only for the Russian sixth seed to be forced to pull out of the contest due to illness. 

Djokovic will face the winner of the evening match between Roger Federer and Lukas Rosol in the last four.

The other semi-final will see Germany's Philipp Kohlschreiber take on either Jo-Wilfried Tsonga or Tomas Berdych after Kohlschreiber recorded the 300th match win of his career by beating wild card Malek Jaziri of Tunisia 6-2 6-3.
