SYDNEY: Pakistan will take on Australia in the fourth one-day international at Sydney on Sunday (tomorrow), ARY News reported.

The green shirts have to win the fixture tomorrow to stay alive in the series.

Australia lead the five match series 2-1. The hosts won the first ODI by 92 runs. Pakistan made a comeback in the second game, winning by six wickets.

The hosts defeated Pakistan by seven wickets to take lead in the five-game series again.

Australia has the advantage over Pakistan at Sydney as the Kangaroos have won 10 out of 14 games. The side has won every single ODI series played in 2004, 2009, 2010, 2012 and 2014.

Pakistan has not beaten Australia at Sydney since 1997.

Head coach of Pakistan cricket team Mickey Arthur has said that his side would have to capitalize on chances if they have to beat Australia in the ongoing one-day series.

Arthur said that the conditions at Sydney and Adelaide suit Pakistan. He added, “We hope that the results will come as expected.”

Arthur also said that the team was confident of getting Azhar Ali back in the team for the fourth ODI on Sunday. He said, “It’s a massive boost. It gives more solidarity to our top order. I’m looking forward to having him back.”
