KARACHI: Sharjeel Inam Memon, Home Minister of Sindh, has said that doctors are receiving extortion calls from South Africa, ARY News reports on Friday.
The statement was made while he was speaking to media.
Sharjeel Memon said that extortion is not taking place in Karachi only. He said that the network of the crime has been spread to Islamabad and Punjab.
“Doctors are receiving extortion calls from South Africa”, Memon stated.
The Home Minister further said that strict action will be taken against illegal immigrants in the province. He added that scanners will be placed in the entry routes of the province.
He said that the delivery of arms within the country is a vital threat to the internal security of the state.
