KARACHI: A domestic dispute over petty issue descended into street violence in Chanesar Goth area, prompting tension in the locality and nearby roads, ARY News reported Friday.
Two groups resorted to baton charge on each other over some domestic issue. Both the sides took to the streets and clashed in public, thus prompting police action.
Enraged protesters blocked the road from Mehmoodabad to Kalapul while fighting against each other.
They also pelted passing vehicles with stones and hit them with sticks. Police resorted to aerial firing and shelling to disperse protesters. After more than couple of hours, police eventually controlled the situation.
