Doors for talks should be kept open, says Sarwar

LAHORE: Governor Punjab, Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has urged that the doors of talks should always be kept open for the sake of security and stability of the state, whereas the entire nation will have to unite together for rule of law and strengthening of the Constitution – ARY News reports.

Talking to a delegation of journalists led by Arshad Ansari, president of the Lahore Press Club, the Governor Punjab said that the entire nation is engulfed in terrorism, he urged everyone to unite together against miscreants putting aside their own interests and political affiliations.

He urged media to strive for reforming the society and to highlight public issues, while playing the role of a strong opposition.

While addressing the oath-taking ceremony of the Education Reporters Association, Sarwar asked media to speak for the right without considering any kind of pressure.
