KARACHI: Sindh Government has appointed Dr. Mohammad Ajmal Khan as Vice Chancellor of Karachi University for four years, ARY News reported.

Agha Siraj Durrani — who is the acting Sindh Governor — appointed Dr. Mohammad Ajmal Khan as the varsity’s vice chancellor for a period of four years under the Section 13-(1) of University Act 1973.

Chief Minister of Sindh Murad Ali Shah had formed in which three names were suggested.

Durrani, excercising his power as the acting governor, appointed Dr. Ajmal for the vacant position.

Sindh Government has issued the notification regarding Ajmal’s hiring.
