KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) chief Farooq Sattar and former president Asif Zardari’s close aide Dr Asim Hussain held a meeting on Sunday to discuss political situation of Sindh and Karachi, ARY News reported.
Dr Asim said the environment of understanding and reconciliation should be promoted and representatives of urban and rural areas of the province work collectively in the future for the betterment of citizens.
During the meeting, Asim Hussain also gave ‘a special message’ of Zardari for Farooq Sattar.
Both the leaders also discussed the ongoing political situation of Karachi and talked about working relationship between the PPP and the MQM-P.
The MQM-P chief said the politics of pressure should be terminated and fair & transparent accountability should be held in the country besieged by several issues.
“The PPP should provide funds and devolve power to the local bodies representatives as per the constitution,” he said.
