“If Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif do not resign by evening today, then the mediation led by army chief will not have any effect,” he told protesters gathered in a sit-in outside Parliament House.

The Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif sent us a message through an institution. Army is unbiased and should remain independent, he said.

Qadri said that the so-called prime minister and interior minister spoke lie on floor of the National Assembly. The statement of the PM wherein he denied his role for calling army for mediation is a sheer lie, Qadri lamented

We presented before the army chief our revolution agenda, he said.
