Drugs worth millions seized from Balochistan
Director Customs Intelligence Balochistan Irfan-ur-Rehman, addressing a press conference here in Quetta, said that the department is carrying out its operations against illegal smuggling of drugs in the region.
He said that officials of customs intelligence recovered seven kilograms of heroin and 250 kilograms of hashish from a vehicle at Saranan area. He added that the driver of the vehicle managed to escape.
The director of the customs department claimed that the drugs were being smuggled into Balochistan from Afghanistan.
He added that seized drugs are worth millions of rupees in the world market.
