Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq won the toss and put his side to bat first in the match.

The green shirts made a disastrous start to the match as they lost opener Mohammad Hafeez on the fifth ball of the day as he was trapped leg before on a duck from the bowling off Johnson with one run on the board.

Pakistan lost their second wicket at the score of seven runs as Siddle knocked back Ahmed Shehzad’s leg stump as the opener tried to flick the ball towards the leg side. He could only manage to make three runs.

The Pakistani side is batting at 50/2 after 26 overs. Younis Khan and Azhar are batting at 14 and 24 runs respectively.
