Dubai Test: Pakistan lose Umar early in chase

New Zealand started day five of the test match at 167/6 with Ross Taylor and Mark Craig on strike.

The Kiwis declared at 250/9 with lead of 260 runs. Ross Taylor was the top scorer for the side in the innings as he made 104 runs for his team whereas Captain Brendon McCullum made 45 runs for his team.

Mark Craig scored 34 runs and Tim Southee contributed 20 runs with the bat.

Chasing the required target, New Zealand bowler Tim Southee dismissed Taufiq Umar as he was caught behind by wicket keeper BJ Watling after he scored four runs.

Pakistan is batting at 9/1 with Shan Masood and Azhar Ali are at the crease with 4 and 1 runs to their names respectively.
