Dubai Test: Smith, Johnson keep Australia fighting

DUBAI: Australia lost three batsmen in the first session on the final day of the Dubai test match against Pakistan as they fight to save their side from a big defeat, ARY News reports on Sunday.

The visitors started the day at 59/4 with Steve Smith and Chris Rogers on strike.

The Kangaroos lost Rogers at the score of 92 after he was clean bowled by debutant pacer Imran Khan after he scored 43 runs.

Meanwhile, the visitors lost two quick wickets as Mitchell Marsh was caught by Azhar Ali from the bowling of leg spinner Zulfiqar Babar after making three runs and Brad Haddin was clean bowled by the leggie on a duck.

Australia is currently batting at 163/7 with Steve Smith and Mitchell Johnson at the crease with their score of 52 and 28. They require 275 runs to win with three wickets in hand.
