Duty of Govt to make arrangements for peace talks: Prof. Ibrahim

MARDAN: Member of Taliban committee for peace talks Professor Ibrahim has said that is the responsibility of the government of Pakistan to make arrangements for the peace talks with militants, ARY News reports on Monday.

Speaking to media from Mardan, Professor Ibrahim said that the primary in the peace talks is not being done by the Pakistani government.  He also said that Taliban has expressed their willingness on holding the meeting.

"It is the duty of the federal government to make arrangements for negotiations with Taliban Shura and meeting of the two committees", Ibrahim said.

Professor Ibrahim said that the hurdles in the peace talks will soon be overcome and the negotiation process will be moved forward.
