ECC meeting was held in Islamabad today under the chair of Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.
During the meeting, ECC approved wheat support price at Rs.1,300 per 40 kilogram.
Giving conditional approval of sugar export, ECC imposed 20 per cent regulatory duty on it.
ECC advised owners of sugar mills to pay sugarcane’s price to farmers and to start crushing of sugarcane at earliest.
