ECC approves import of 1,25,000 tonnes urea

ISLAMABAD: Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the federal cabinet on Thursday approved import of 1,25,000 tonnes of urea, ARY News reported. 

The ECC also decided to maintain the price of urea at Rs. 1786 per bag. 

The ECC meeting presided over by Federal Minister of Finance Ishaq Dar also granted permission for export of 2,50,000 tonnes of sugar.

The cabinet committee also permitted the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) to borrow 30 million dollars to get small aircrafts on lease.  

Moreover, the committee also reinvited the summary for lifting ban on gold import in its next meeting.
