ISLAMABAD: The meeting of Economic Co-ordination Committee (ECC) will be held tomorrow and expecting to approve relief package for month of Ramadhan, ARY News reported.
Federal government has decided to give a package of Rs.2 billion for the month of Ramadhan, in order to provide people essential items at the discounted. However for the final approval the package plan will be presented in the ECC meeting tomorrow.
Sources said that under the Ramadhan relief package people will be able to buy general commodities including rice, sugar, pulses and other hundreds of item at cheaper rates from Utility stores.
Besides, government is likely to give 15-20 per cent subsidy on several essential commodities.
