QUETTA: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Monday has announced schedule for election to fill vacant seats of Local Council of Balochistan, polling will be held on January 19, ARY News reported.
According to schedule, the nomination papers for contesting the elections can be submitted on December 27 and 28 while the scrutiny of the nomination papers and publication of the validly nominated candidates will be done on December 30 and 31.
Moreover, appeals against the acceptance or rejection of the nomination papers can be filed on January 1 and 2. Final list of candidates will be issued on January 6, polling on 19 and the results will be announced by election returning officer on January 21.
