ECP decides to probe Imran Khan's rigging allegations
ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has decided to probe into the matter of PTI Chairman, Imran Khan's rigging allegations – ARY News reports.
The ECP in this regard, sought complete record of the recounting of votes in NA-68, Sargodha. The Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif stood successful from this constituency, in the General Elections 2013.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) cases, demanding the recount of votes in four different NA constituencies, are also pending in concerned election tribunals.
PTI Chief, Imran Khan has alleged that his party's mandate was terribly looted in these constituencies and despite of a year's time, concerned election tribunals did not take any action on these petitions.
