The decision was taken in a meeting chaired by Chief Election Commissioner Justice (Retd.) Sardar Raza Khan.
The meeting was told that demand of some political parties seeking resignation of four ECP members was not in the jurisdiction of Election Commission.
It was mentioned in the meeting that PTI’s Lawyer’s Forum had filed a reference in the Supreme Judicial Council against the election commission which is the appropriate way to address the issue.
The ECP members decided not to take any decision regarding their resignations until the Supreme Judicial Council announces its final decision.
