ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has sought recommendations from political parties on strategic plan 2014-18, aiming to hold next general elections in more transparent manner, ARY News reported on Monday.
All the political parties have been sent draft of the strategic plan, the ECP said in a statement.
The ECP has set a deadline of May 15, 2014 so that all political parties could submit their recommendations and reservations on the plan by the specified date.
The strategic plan contains some recommendations to make next general elections more transparent.
The proposed draft of the plan has been sent to chairman Senate, speaker National Assembly, chairmen of standing committees, added the ECP statement.
